Seminary Ridge and Confederate Avenue areas
These photos are from Seminary Ridge, Pitzer Woods, Warfield Ridge and other areas along West and South Confederate Avenues. These areas were held by the Confederate 3rd Corps early and along with the 1st Corps later in the day and evening after the attacks of the 2nd day

These are photographs from the the part of the field that saw action on the First Day of the Battle. The Union 1st Corp was in action on this part of the field with the Confederate 2nd and Third Corps. It also is the loactionof the Peace Memorial whihc is located on Oak Hill overlooking this part of GNMP.

Barlow's Knoll and North Side of GNMP
These are photographs from the the part of the field that saw action on the First Day of the Battle. The Union 11th Corps was in action on this part of the field with the Confederate 2nd Corps. Barlow's Knoll is named after General Francis Barlow whose division guarded this area of the field as part of the 11th Corpsof GNMP.
